Civilian employees are recognized for satisfactory completion of Federal service including military service for each 5 year period from 10 to 50 years. Emblems and certificates are presented for each period in recognition of long and faithful service.

Air Force
Recognizing Length of Service
Management presents certificates and
lapel buttons to recognize 10, 20, 30, 40,
and 50 years of creditable federal service if at
least 5 years were spent in civilian service.
Department of the Navy
Length Of Service Award
All civilian employees are eligible for this award. It is granted to employees to recognize all creditable federal service to include honorable military service. Employees will receive a length of service awardafter 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45 and 50 years of service. The award consists of a lapel pin and a certificate. Employees who complete 40 or more years of service, also receive a certificate signed by the Secretary of the Navy.
Marine Corps
