Regimental collar insignia is the soldier's

Banch Insignia!!

Army Branch Insignia or Branch of Service

as it is often called is worn by both Officer and Enlisted personnel.

Officers wear their respective branch insignia on the lapels

of their dress uniforms in addition to the U.S. Letters.

On their Battle Dress Uniform (BDU), they wear rank insignia

on their left collar and their branch insignia on their right collar. Both are subuded.

On the New Army Combat Uniform (ACU)

only the Chaplain Corps Branch Insignia is authorized!!

Enlisted personnel wear their respective branch insignia on their

dress uniforms only.

For the most part, the design of enlisted branch insignia is the same as the officer's

except that their is a disc behind the insignia.

Enlisted personnel wear one branch insignia in combination with the enlisted U.S. letters.
